The Louisiana-Mississippi Golf Course Superintendents Association awards two scholarships each year.
Legacy Award
Our Legacy Award is $1000. This scholarship is available to any child/grandchild of an LMGCSA member (Class A, SM or Retired). Application deadline is December 1st of the year. You can access the application form by clicking on Legacy Award below.
Turf Scholar Competition
Jerry Pate Company is the sponsor of LMGCSA’s Turf Scholar Competition.. It is a $2,000 scholarship. The applicant must be an undergraduate student and have completed the first year (24 hours or equivalent) in a program related to golf course management. Deadline for applying is December 1st of the year.
